問題與答案
Q: Why is there a System Time Out error?
A: The remote side might have keyed in the wrong user telephone number. So when
one InfoTalks searches for the other InfoTalk's telephone number in our server,
they cannot locate each other. Hence, after some time it generates a System
Time Out Error. To solve this problem, please ensure that the User Phone number
inside the User Profile is the same as the telephone line number that is
plugged to InfoTalk.

Q: Why is there a Line No Carrier error?
A: Either there is not enough bandwidth in the Internet to carry out the operation of the InfoTalk or
the User is actually connecting some other devices (fascimile machine,
answering machine, etc) in parallel with InfoTalk.

Q: Why is there a No Line error?
A: Either the telephone line cord is not plug in properly or the telephone line condition for that
country is compatible with InfoTalk and therefore users must change the Dialing Prefix to ATX3DT.

Q:When I try to key in the User Profile into the InfoTalk, nothing seems to
happen when I press on the keypads of the telephone.
A:
Possibilty:
- The telephone is not set to tone dialing.
- The telephone is not a touch tone phone.
- The line cord of the telephone is internally broken so change the cord and try again.
- The telephone is faulty, change the telephone and try again.
- The phone jack and the line jack is plugged in the reverse way.

Q: How does InfoTalk work?
A: InfoTalk lets you use your normal telephone to make phone calls over the
Internet and save money. InfoTalk lets you call any other InfoTalk user
anywhere in the world for just the cost of your Internet service. Using
InfoTalk's patent-pending SaveDial™ feature, no long distance charges apply
whatsoever -- your InfoTalk contacts the other InfoTalk, initiates its
connection to the Internet, and automatically completes the connection over the
Internet. If you or the InfoTalk user you are calling is connected to the
telephone network through a PBX and are unable to use SaveDial, then you can
still use InfoTalk to make phone calls over the Internet. Simply call the other
InfoTalk user and establish a regular call -- after connecting, either party
may press the # key on the telephone. Both InfoTalk devices will disconnect the
call and connect to their respective Internet Service Providers. InfoTalk will
then automatically re-establish connection between both parties over the
Internet. For the cost of Internet service for both parties and a minute or
more of long distance charges to establish the connection, InfoTalk lets you
enjoy your conversation over the Internet for as long as you like. The process
of making an InfoTalk-to-InfoTalk call is as simple as making a normal call
followed by the # key.

Q: What do I need to use InfoTalk?
A: In addition to a standard telephone, you must have dial-up access to the
Internet in order to use InfoTalk. InfoTalk works with any Internet Service
Provider that supports the PPP (PAP-authentication) protocol, one of the most
commonly used protocols for dial-up connection to the Internet. Certain online
services such as AOL and Delphi, however, do not support PPP and will not work
with InfoTalk. With an Internet account and InfoTalk, you can call any other
InfoTalk user. To call any phone in over 200 countries whether or not they have
InfoTalk, you must additionally have an InnoSphere account.

Q: How good is the voice quality? Is it like a regular phone?
A: InfoTalk uses digital speech compression to support voice communications over
the Internet. The voice quality that you experience is directly related to the
instantaneous level of Internet traffic and the quality of the connections to
the Internet that you and any InfoTalk user you call may have. The technology
of InfoTalk is designed to provide high voice quality with minimum delay, but
it may not sound as good as a regular phone. InfoTalk's Performance Tuning
feature allows you to extend the delay that you experience in order to improve
voice quality during periods of heavy Internet traffic.
